Visit to Anatomy Dept of St. John's Medical College, Koramangala, Bangalore
On 17th September , 2016 Students of class- X were taken to visit Anatomy Dept, St. John's Medical College. It helped our students to reflect the knowledge and understanding of the human body and demonstrate the ability to adapt the information and its applications. Students were inspired to get into medical field in future.

Teacher’s Day celebration-2016
Teacher’s
Day was celebrated on 6th September,2016 in commemoration the birth anniversary of Sri Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan at DBM & RJS
SCHOOL.Master Varun Sagar and Kumari Swetha Joshi of class X spoke about the significance of the day and the attributes of a good teacher who shapes their lives. The teacher’s were felicitated on the occasion by Smt Usha
Rajashekar, governing council chairman and the Principal Smt V . Manjula.
Kumari. Teertha A .N studying in class UKG of DBM & RJS SCHOOL participated in the LITTLE ACES
Tournament organized by SAT SPORTS PVT LTD and won the match. She was
honoured by Smt . V. Manjula in the school Assembly as a token of appreciation. Theertha started playing tennis from a very young age of 4 years 3 months. DBM
& RJS SCHOOL congratulate her and wishes her all the success in all her
future endeavours.
onam festival celebration in DBM & RJS SCHOOL-2016
India is the only Country with many states and languages
spoken. Onam being the Harvest
Festival of Kerala State was Celebrated at DBM & RJS SCHOOL with great
enthusiasm. Teachers decorated the floors with beautiful pookolams . Nimisha of
class X spoke on the significance of the day and Smt Sasikala Maths faculty
narrated a story behind this grand celebration in the Assembly.
Engineer’s Day celebration in DBM & RJS SCHOOL-2016
Engineer’s
Day was celebrated at DBM & RJS SCHOOL on 15th
sept ’16 to celebrate the birth anniversary of Sir Mokshagandam Vishveshwarya. Kumar. Vinay of class
X dressed up in the typical attire of Sir M.Vishveshwarya. The students
spoke on his achievements and awards paying tribute to this great legend of
Karnataka. The students also stated some of his valuable quotes in the Assembly
as part of science club.
Teacher’s Orientation programme -2016
On 3rd September,16Teacher’s
Orientation programme was organised by DBM & RJS school , the resource person for the day was Ms. Ami Desai from Blooms Grooming &
Finishing School .It included lots of indoor and outdoor activities to enhance the
inherent qualities of a teacher. This initial step of warming up workshop will
be followed by series of workshops to improve the quality of teaching in our
school.

Independence Day Celebration
Freedom in the Mind, Faith in the words, Pride in our
souls …
Let’s
salute the nation on this auspicious day….
Independence Day was
celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect at DBM-RJS School, Koramangala, and
Bangalore. The ceremony started at 9.30 AM in the school quadrangle with august
gathering of Management, staff, students and parents.

President, KRJS, Sri.G N Munni Venkatappa, Vice- President, KRJS, Sri.
Muninagappa, General Secretary, KRJS, Smt. Usha Rajashekar Reddy,
Governing Council Chairman, DBM-RJS School P. S Sathish Reddy, Governing
Council Member DBM-RJS School, Sri Jayaram Reddy, Executive
Engineer, Member- KRJS, Smt. V.Manjula Principal , DBM-RJS
School presided the function.
Kumari. Shwetha Joshi of class- X – B
welcomed the gathering and introduced the Chief Guest and other dignitaries for
the day.
To commemorate the
sovereignty of our nation, the Chief Guest Sri Vijayaraghava Reddy, President,
KRJS unfurled the tricolor flag and all in unison sang the National
Anthem and expressed the joy of our freedom.
Sonika Mynahalli of class VIII-A
shared his views on the significance of the day. The students of Choir group
sang the Patriotic song that awakened everyone’s feelings towards our Mother
Land. The Chief Guest of the function Sri Vijayaraghava Reddy said “he is happy
to celebrate this great day with children and also highlighted on the values
like patritotism, honesty to be inculcated in our lives.
G N Munni Venkatappa, Vice- President,
KRJS addressed the gathering and shared He stated that “It is the duty of every citizen to protect
the integrity and sovereignty of the country, Independence Day is a festival
for all those who sacrificed their lives to attain freedom”.
The
management committee members honoured our merit students with the cash prize.
There was a colourful cultural programme.
The Programme concluded up with the Vote of
thanks Varun Sagar of class- X-A.
At the end sweets were distributed to
the students as the token of love and affection.
Indeed, it was a day
of joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place for
Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity.

Ganesha Chaturthi Celebration-2016
The students and teachers of DBM & RJS School celebrated the universally popular festival 'Ganesha Chaturthi' in a unique way, Our kids has always shown a sincere conern for fast degrading environment. Therefore, they made beautiful idols of their favourite God Ganesha with non-toxic clay. The process of idol making started a day before of the celebration. teoachers and students decorated the corridors with colourful rangolis.
On 3/9/16,during our assembly program,students performed skit giving message"use only Eco-friendly Ganesha and save Environment". There was also melodious devotionals songs sung by our high school students. This short cultural programme gave a feeling of devotion and pride towards our culture & heritage. The programme came to a close by the rendition of National Anthem.
Sri Krishna Janmastami Celebration
DBM-RJS celebrated Sri Krishna Janmastami in great pomp and
show. Smt. V.Manjula, Principal, Teachers, Students and Parents geared up to
celebrate this auspicious day.
Children of Kindergarten section dressed up like little
Krishna and Radha. Children were all very happy to witness the colourful
programme presented by our higher-primary school children. Kum. Kambala Amrutha of class-
VIII-B spoke about the significance of the day. Smt. Savitramma, Kannada Faculty
narrated a story on Sri Krishna’s life and Kum. Nancy mani, Computer Science Faculty
narrated a story on Krishna and Sudhama’s friendship. At last the programme
came to close with Dahi Handi by the students of class- X.
